Career Guidance Program

It is a two-day program which aims to guide the final or pre-final year students of over 800+ CEGians in choosing their career path.

(1) DAY 1:
A one-day session is conducted either in the month of December or January, as soon as the students enter their 6th semester. This session will focus on the following:
1. Employability Skills
2. Group Discussion
3. Interpersonal Skills
4. Resume Writing

In addition to this, a knowledge sharing session is conducted where distinguished members at the top of their field educate the students on the current industry requirements of their respective field. The program are usually conducted for the students of the following courses:
1. Civil Engineering
2. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
3. Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE)
4. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
5. Industrial Engineering
6. IT (Information Technology)
7. M.Sc. Integrated (CSE & IT)
8. Manufacturing Engineering
9. Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
10. Material Science and Engineering
11. Mechanical Engineering

(2) DAY 2:
Mock interviews, which serve as an emulation of job interviews, will be conducted for students of various branches of Engineering as soon as they enter their final year (7th Semester). It is usually held during the second week of July at Knowledge Park.
This session is primarily organized to help the students prepare themselves well before the placement interviews. The interview panel will consist of CEG Alumni from a huge array of companies with rich expertise in various fields.
